The Buddy System Sittard-Geleen has launched a brand-new activity for expats, internationals and locals!
You are very welcome to join the fun at our first International Quiz Night at Café Bloem in Sittard on Tuesday 27 May!
The quiz will be hosted in English, with questions suited to an international audience. Our quizmaster, Ian Grace, will present 6 rounds of challenging questions, covering a wide variety of topics including travel, culture, sports, science & tech, movies, music, and more.
You can participate as a team (of 2-5 persons). In this case, please order multiple tickets on Eventbrite. Solo players are also encouraged to sign up. If you are new in town or simply looking to meet new friends, our quiz night is the spot for you. Our crew will be pleased to introduce you to other players, forming teams on the spot.
Doors will open at 19:30 and we’ll start the quiz at 20:00 sharp, by handing out the questions for round 1 (which is a picture round). At 20:30, our quizmaster will start asking questions over the microphone. The use of smartphones is not permitted during the entire quiz!
The final ranking will be announced at around 22:45, and a prize will be awarded to the winning team. Of course, you’re welcome to stay for drinks after the quiz!
The participation fee is €2.50 per person, including some bites. This fee can be paid along with your drinks at the end of the quiz night.
